Pani Puri

pani puri

Ingredients:

Ready Puri available in any bakery or super market.
For the Pani:
1. Tamarind pulp – 1 cup
2. Water – 1–2 cups
3. Coriander leaves
4. Jeera Powder – 1 tsp
5. Pepper Powder – ½ tsp
6. Jaggery – 1/2 inch piece
7. Chilli Powder – 1 tsp
8. Green chilli – 1
9. Chaat masala – 2 tsp
10. Mint leaves
11. Coriander powder – 1 tsp
12. Salt – ½ tsp

pani puri For the potato filling:
1 .Boiled and mashed potato – 2
2. Pepper powder – ½ tsp
3. Turmeric powder – ½ tsp
4. Onion finely chopped – ½
5. Chaat Masala – 1 tsp
6. Chilli powder – ½ tsp
7. Salt to taste
8. Coriander powder – ½ tsp



Method:

1. Mix all the ingredients mentioned in “For the Pani” and keep aside.
2. Mix together all the ingredients mentioned in “For the Potato filling” and keep aside.
3. Crack open the top of each puri. Add ½ tbsp of the potato filling into it and then dip it into the Pani.
