HONEY PEPPER PORK ROAST
Honey pepper pork roast is all you need to have a satisfying lunch or dinner. Combined with noodles or fried rice, it’s the perfect meal you can devour.
Honey Pepper Pork Roast Recipe
Ingredients
- 2 kg Boneless pork
- 4 Kumti red long chillies
- 4 inch Ginger (Chop length wise 1 inch pieces)
- Small bunch Spring onions
- 1 Big Pod garlic (Chopped)
- 5 tbsp Honey (As per taste, add more)
- 1 tbsp Peppercorns
- 6 tbsp/90ml Soya Sauce (As per taste, add more)
- Salt (As per taste)
Instructions
- Clean and cut the pork into medium pieces.
- In a saucepan, add 2 cups water and let it boil well. Add soya sauce, ginger, garlic, spring onions, peppercorns and red chillies.
- Add honey. When mixture boils well, add pork and spread evenly in the saucepan. Cover the lid and simmer the flame to low-medium and cook for about 40 minutes.
- Saute in between till the pork is cooked. Finally, cook on a higher flame till the sauce thickens and the pork is roasted. Add salt to taste.
- Serve hot with noodles or as a side dish.
- tbsp = tablespoon
- tsp = teaspoon
