CHICKEN MASALA RECIPE

Chicken Masala Recipe
Ingredients
- 1/2 kg Chicken (Clean and cut into curry pieces)
- 2 Onions (Sliced)
- 1 Green Chilli
- Few stems Coriander leaves (Chopped)
- 1 tbsp Oil
- 1 tbsp Ghee
- 1 tbsp Everest Kashmiri Chilli powder
- 1/4 tsp Turmeric powder
- 1 tbsp Coriander powder
- 1/2 tsp Jeera powder
- 5 Methi seeds
- 5 Garlic cloves (chopped)
- 1/2 tsp Ginger garlic paste
- Pinch of Ajwain (Optional)
- 1 lime or 1 tsp Vinegar or tamarind water
- Salt (As per taste)
- 1/2 tsp Garam masala
Instructions
- Keep a wok, heat the oil, add the chopped garlic cloves and fry till light brown. Add ginger garlic paste and fry for a minute.
- Add sliced onions, fry till light golden brown, simmer the flame and add chilli powder, coriander powder, jeera powder, garam masala, turmeric powder, methi seeds, ajwain and fry for a minute.
- Add chicken pieces, mix well and fry for 2 minutes, add salt to taste. Add coriander leaves.
- Add 1/4 cup water and cook the chicken on a slow flame, Saute now and then.
- Add lime juice or vinegar or tamarind water. Garnish with coriander leaves and 1 tsp ghee on top.
- Serve hot with chapatis, rotis or Naan.
Note: If you want it spicier, add more green chillies or/and chilli powder.
