Wash and cut the chicken into big pieces.
In a vessel, add in 1 litre water, chicken pieces, ¾ tsp salt and ¼ tsp pepper powder. Once it starts boiling, turn the flame low and let it boil for around 10 minutes or till the chicken is fully cooked.
Strain the liquid and keep it aside. Shred the chicken pieces.
Transfer the liquid back into the vessel. Add in the shredded chicken and sweet corn kernels.
Add in ½ tsp salt, ¼ tsp pepper and 3 tsp sugar.
Let it boil till the corn is cooked.
Add in vinegar and soya sauce and mix well.
In a small bowl mix 6 tbsp corn flour with 6 tbsp water (slurry) and keep aside. In another bowl beat an egg.
Once the corn is cooked, add in the slurry and mix well till it thickens.
Turn the flame low and add in the egg making a rough design.
Turn the flame off and give it a good mix.
Serve immediately.
