- 10-15 Sardines
- 8 Long red chillies(Byadgi)
- 1/2 tsp Jeera/cumin seeds
- 1/4 tsp Methi seeds
- 1/4 tsp Mustard seeds
- 1 Small ball sized tamarind
- 1/4 tsp Turmeric powder
- 2 tbsp Coconut oil
- 1 inch Ginger
- 3 Green Chillies
- 1 Onion Small
- 1 cup Water
- Salt As required
Grind the red chillies, cumin seeds, methi seeds, mustard seeds, tamarind, 1 small onion and turmeric powder to a paste.
Take 10-15 sardines, cut and clean and keep it aside in a vessel.
Put 2 tbsp coconut oil, 1 in ginger(cut), 3 green chillies (Slit), 1 small onion(chopped) and fry a little. Add the masala and fry well.
Add one cup of water and make curry. Add the fish and bring it to a boil.
Sardine masala Curry is now ready to be served.
