Grind the above ingredients in group 1 to a fine paste (Grind fresh coconut, short red chillies, coriander seeds, jeera, peppercorns, onion, turmeric powder and tamarind)
Put the ground masala and 2 cups of water in a vessel and bring it to a boil, add salt.
Add the cut pieces of pomfret fish and cook for two minutes.
Add little coconut juice and stir. Lower the flame, let it boil for a minute.
