Prawn with Ladies Finger Curry

Ingredients
  

For the masala

  • 10 tbsp Grated coconut
  • 8 Parekal short red chillies
  • 1/4 tsp Jeera
  • 1/4 tsp Coriander seeds
  • 2 Flakes Peeled garlic
  • 1 Marble sized Tamarind
  • 10 Peppercorns
  • 1/4 tsp Turmeric powder

Other Ingredients

  • 1/2 kg Cleaned prawns
  • 1/2 Cup Coconut milk
  • 10 Ladies Fingers
  • 1 Cup Water
  • 1 Onion
  • 2 tbsp Coconut oil

Instructions
 

  • Grind the above spices into a fine paste.
  • Clean and cut the ladies finger 3 in pieces.
  • Add masala and 1 cup of masala water.
  • Bring it to a boil, cook for 3 minutes. Then, add the cleaned prawns and cook for 2 minutes.
  • Add coconut milk. Close the lid, simmer the fire for a minute.
  • Your dish is ready to be served.
  • You can also season this with fried onions by keeping two tbsp coconut oil, fry a onion to light brown and add to the curry.
