INDIAN MASALA MACARONI

Indian Masala Macaroni

Ingredients
  

  • 1 1/2 cups Macaroni
  • 1/2 + 3/4 tsp Salt
  • 3 tbsp Oil
  • 1 Onion
  • 1 Green Chilli
  • 1/2 tbsp Ginger garlic paste
  • 1 Tomato
  • 5 Button mushrooms
  • 1/2 tsp Red chilli powder
  • 1/4 tsp Turmeric powder
  • 1/4 tsp Garam masala powder
  • Coriander leaves ( For garnishing)

Instructions
 

  • Boil the macaroni with sufficient water and salt for 8 minutes.
  • Chop the onion, tomato, green chilli, mushrooms and coriander leaves finely.

  • Once it is boiled, drain the water, add some more water and drain again. Keep it aside.

  • Heat oil in a pan. Add in the onion and green chilli and fry till the onions get translucent.

  • Add in the ginger garlic paste and mix well. Fry for around 20 seconds.

  • Add in the tomato and mushroom and mix well. Fry till the mushroom get soft and begin to leave out water.

  • Now add in the salt, red chilli powder, turmeric powder, garam masala powder and mix well.

  • Add in the boiled macaroni and mix well. Cook for around 20 seconds.

  • Finally, garnish with chopped coriander leaves and serve hot.
