Chicken Green Kadai

For the masala:
- 1 Kg Chicken
- 1 Bunch Coriander Leaves
- 3 tbsp Cashew nuts
- 4 Garlic cloves
- 2 tsp Saunf/fennel seeds
- 5 Green chillies
- 10 Peppercorns
- 1 tsp couscous
- 1 Marble sized tamarind
Others:
- 5 tbsp Ghee
- 1 Onion (chopped)
- 6 Garlic cloves (chopped)
- Salt (As required)
- 1/2 Cup Water
Grind the above masala ingredients into a paste.
Add one tbsp ghee to the kadai.
Add chopped onion and garlic, fry a little, add chicken and fry till light brown.
Add salt and above masala and 4 tbsp ghee, fry well with medium flame.
Add 1/2 cup water, close the lid and cook the chicken. Stir in between.
When the ghee is separated from masala, dish is done. You can make it dry or little wettish .
Serve with panpales, chapatis or rotis.
