Chinese Chilli Chicken

  1. Chicken – ½ kg
  2. Onion – 2 (big)
  3. Green chillies – 6
  4. Soya sauce – 3-4 tbsp
  5. Oil – 2-3 tbsp
  6. Salt – to taste

  1. Wash the chicken pieces and keep aside.
  2. Cut the onions into large cubes and grind to paste in a mixer.
  3. Slit the green chillies midway.
  4. In a wok, heat oil. Add in the onion paste and fry well till it gets slightly brown.
  5. Add in the green chillies and fry well for around 3 minutes.
  6. Then, add in the chicken pieces and mix well. Add salt to taste.
  7. Let it cook on low flame till the chicken is half cooked.
  8. Add the soya sauce and mix well. Cook till chicken is fully cooked.
  9. Serve hot with Noodles or Fried Rice.
