Pasta in White Sauce
An authentic recipe of Pasta in White Sauce by Chef Cheryl Lobo. The recipe is very easy to follow and is very simple. Let’s start with the ingredients we suffice.
1. Pasta of any kind – 5 cups
2. Butter -5tbsp
3. Chicken sausages – 3
4. Fresh corn – 1 cup
5. Mushrooms – 5-6
6. Cheese cubes – 3
7. Milk – 2 cups
8. Cornflour – 2tbsp
9. Chilli Flakes – 1 tbsp
10. Oregano – 1 tbsp
11. Pepper Powder – 1/2 tsp
12. Salt – to taste
⦁ Bring water to boil in a saucepan. Add 1 tbsp salt. Add the Pasta of your choice and cook for about 11-12 mins or as per directions on the packet.
⦁ Once it is cooked drain out the water and add some more water. Drain once again. This helps to prevent it from cooking further.
⦁ In a pan , heat the butter. Roast the chilli flakes and oregano until you get the aroma.
⦁ Add in the chopped mushroom and sausages and fry till it is cooked and the mushrooms leave out water. Add in the Fresh corn.
⦁ Now add the cheese (cut into smaller cubes which makes it easier to melt) , milk and cornflour and stir continuously till the cheese melts completely.
⦁ Add salt to taste and pepper.
⦁ Finally add the boiled pasta.
⦁ Give it a good mix and serve hot.
