Paneer Manchurian

Paneer Manchurian is a delicious go to side dish to make your meal super yummy. Time to fuse some chinese style in your kitchen. Try it out now.

Ingredients:
  1. Paneer – 200 gms
  2. Onion – 1
  3. Capsicum – 1 small
  4. Green chilli – 2
  5. Garlic – 4 cloves
  6. Red chilli powder – ½ tbsp
  7. Pepper powder – ¼ tsp
  8. Tomato ketchup – 2 tbsp
  9. Red chilli sauce – 1 tsp
  10. Soya sauce – 2 tsp
  11. Vinegar – 2 tsp
  12. Corn flour – 2 tsp
  13. Oil – 2 tbsp + 1 tbsp
  14. Salt to taste





Method:
  1. Chop the onion and capsicum finely. Slit the green chillies midway. Mince the garlic cloves.
  2. Cut the paneer into big pieces. In a bowl, mix the paneer, red chilli powder and pepper powder and keep aside.
  3. Heat 2 tbsp oil in a non stick pan and fry the paneer on all sides till it turns golden brown.
  4. Take out the paneer and keep aside.
  5. In a small bowl, mix together the red chilli sauce, tomato ketchup, soya sauce and vinegar.
  6. In another small bowl mix together 2 tsp of corn flour with 4 tbsp water.
  7. In the same pan, add another tbsp of oil and fry the onion, capsicum, green chillies and garlic till the onions turn translucent.
  8. Now with the flame on low, add in the sauces and mix well for about a minute.
  9. Add in the corn flour mixed with water. Mix well until the sauce thickens. Add salt if required.
  10. Add in the fried paneer and mix well.
  11.  Serve hot with Noodles or Fried rice.
