Onion Pakodaonion pakoda

Ingredients:
  1. Onion – 3 medium size
  2. Gram Flour – 1 cup
  3. Red chilli Powder – ¼ tbsp
  4. Carom seeds / Oma seeds – ¼ tbsp
  5. Salt – ½ to ¾ tbsp
  6. Water – ¾ cup
  7. Oil – for deep frying




Method:
  1. Slice the onions finely.
  2. In a bowl, mix together the gram flour, red chilli powder, salt, oma seeds and water into a thick batter.
  3. Add in the sliced onions and mix well.
  4. Heat oil for deep frying.
  5. Drop in tablespoons of the onion mixture into the hot oil one by one. Avoid overcrowding.
  6. Deep fry till golden brown. Serve hot.
