Honey Chilli Sausage

Ingredients:

  1. Chicken Sausages – 6
  2. Red chilli Powder – ½ tsp
  3. Spring onions – 2 springs finely chopped
  4. Capsicum – ¼ cup finely chopped
  5. Ginger garlic paste – 1 tbsp
  6. Honey – 2 tbsp
  7. Soya Sauce – ¼ tsp
  8. Red Chilli sauce – 2 tsp
  9. White sesame seeds – 2 tsp
  10. Water – ¼ cup
  11. Salt – 1 tsp
  12. Oil – 2 tbsp + 1 tbsp




Method:

  1. Cut the sausages into big pieces.
  2. In a bowl, mix the sausages and chilli powder.
  3. In a wok, heat 2 tbsp oil and fry the sausages till cooked.
  4. Take out of the wok and keep aside.
  5. In the same wok, add a little more oil if required and sauté the spring onions.
  6. Add in the ginger garlic paste. Sauté for around half a minute.
  7. Add in the capsicum and fry well. If it gets too dry add a little water.
  8. Add in the honey, soya sauce and chilli sauce. Mix well.
  9. Add the water and keep mixing till it starts bubbling.
  10. Add in the salt.
  11. Add in the fried sausage and sesame seeds.
  12. Mix well and serve hot.
